L’Eroica is a historic cycling event dedicated to cyclists wearing vintage or historically inspired clothing, on HEROIC BICYCLES or MODERN VINTAGE-STYLE BICYCLES.

Eroica Italia S.S.D. has a bike workshop with Eroica bicycles, i.e. bicycles dating back to before 1980, registered in the Eroica Bicycle Register. All bicycles comply with the Race Regulations (ART. 6) of the "L'Eroica" and "Eroica Montalcino" events.

ART. 1 - DATE AND PLACE

The Eroica Bike Workshop will be open in Montalcino for bicycle pickup, assistance, and return:

• Friday, May 29, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM
• Saturday, May 30, 2026, from 4:30 AM to 9:00 PM
• Sunday, May 31, 2026, from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM

ART. 2 - RENTAL REQUIREMENTS

Bike rental is subject to signing the regulations on the form, which can be downloaded from the following LINK after receiving the payment receipt, as indicated in ART. 4 below, and completing the online form.

The signed form must be submitted when picking up the bicycle at the Bike Workshop.

ART. 3 - RENTAL COSTS

The rental cost is €120.00 and includes:

• Bicycle
• Bike setup
• Washing upon return.

ART. 4 - BOOKING AND PAYMENT METHODS

Bicycle reservations can only be made online by completing the form available on the website.

Booking confirmation will be made through online payment by credit card following notification of the availability of the requested bicycle.

ART. 5 - LIABILITY

Eroica declines all liability for damage resulting from improper use or accidents occurring during use of the bicycle, including any malfunctions attributable to the natural fragility of a vintage bicycle.

ART. 6 - DEPOSIT AND REPAIR KIT

The participant is responsible for the rented bicycle for the entire duration of the rental. At the time of rental, the participant must provide a credit card guarantee. The deposit also includes the provision of a repair kit (consisting of an inner tube or tubular tire and repair tools).

ART. 7 CANCELLATION

If a registered participant is unable to participate in L'Eroica, the rental fee will not be refunded. Cancellations must be made by April 30, 2026, by sending an email to rent@eroica.cc.

The organization reserves the right to evaluate, at its sole discretion, any communications received if they are motivated by "objective inability to participate due to injury," documented by medical records.

In recognized cases, the rental fee will be considered valid for registration for the 2027 edition. The fee retained is nominal and non-transferable and will be valid only for the year following the cancellation. In the event of a further cancellation, the fee will be considered forfeited.

ART. 8 - COMPLAINTS

Any complaints must be sent to the organizers exclusively by email to rent@eroica.cc within 10 days of the event.

ART. 10 - CANCELLATION OF THE EVENT

If, due to force majeure, the event is cancelled, the amount paid at the time of rental will not be refunded, but the fee will be considered valid for the following year, as will the registration fee.
