Nova Eroica Prosecco Hills will take place on Sunday 2 May 2026 in Località Musile in Susegana (Treviso - Italy).
The regulations of this ASI-affiliated event comply with the F.C.I. National Amateur Sector Implementation Rules.
All participants are required to read the following Regulations carefully before registering for NOVA Eroica.
ART. 1 – GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT THE EVENT
Nova Eroica Prosecco Hills will take place on Sunday, May 1, 2027, in Musile, Susegana (TV - Italy).
Nova Eroica Prosecco Hills is a hybrid and amateur cycling race that takes place primarily on dirt roads.
The Race includes two routes with timed special stages and free-ride transfer sections, a cycling route, and a randonnée.
In these Regulations, NOVA Eroica Prosecco Hills will also be referred to as the Event, the Demonstration, or the Race.
ART. 2 – BICYCLES
Nova Eroica Prosecco Hills is a cycling race for gravel bikes. Road and cyclocross bikes with carbon, steel, titanium, and aluminum frames are also permitted; mountain bikes are prohibited; pedal-assist bicycles are admitted only on the Short "Via dei Castelli" 55Km route.
Bikes must have racing handlebars.
To be considered gravel bikes, they must have at least 32mm tires and disc brakes on the front and rear wheels.
2.1 Definition of Gravel Bike
The frame of a gravel bike is derived from a cyclocross frame, already extensively defined by the FCI. The differences between a CX frame and a gravel bike are:
ART. 3 - ROUTES AND DEPARTURES
NOVA Eroica Prosecco Hills offers 4 different routes:
The Medium and Long routes include free-ride transfers and timed special stages; the Short route is free-ride, as described in Article 10 below.
Each participant has the right to choose the route most suitable for them and must indicate this at the time of registration. It is possible to change the route type up until the start without penalty between routes that require the same type of medical certificate.
This right may be limited or conditioned by the organization for technical and/or safety reasons.
Minors aged 13 to 17 may participate in the 55km "Via dei Castelli" short route. Parental or legal guardian authorization is required, using the form available at the following link.
The routes will be marked with arrows, but everyone should rely on the GPS tracks and timetables available at eroica.cc/it/nova-eroica-prosecco-hills on the routes page.
The organization will ensure there is a Start of the Event and a Finish of the Event, which will pass through the routes.
Departures will take place according to the following times:

ART. 5 - PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS AND SPORTS CARDS
Registered Italian Cyclists
In order to comply with Italian regulations, all cyclists must be members of the ASI, FCI or of organizations affiliated with the FCI (ACSI, US ACLI, CSI, CSAIN, AICS, LIBERTAS, CSEN, and UISP) at the time of registration; OPES and ASI members must activate the BIKE Card.
A valid Cycling Sports Card must be uploaded to the appropriate section of the MyEroica registration platform at least 15 days before registration to allow the organization to validate it. Cards will be checked within 15 days of being uploaded.
Membership Categories Are:
Non-Registered Italian Cyclists
Italian cyclists who do NOT have a Sports Card for Cycling can register by paying €10 for the automatic activation of the "FCI Daily Card," which includes daily insurance coverage.
Foreign Cyclists
All FOREIGN cyclists can register by paying an additional €10 for the automatic activation of the "FCI Daily Card," which includes daily insurance coverage.
The Organizer may, at any time and at its sole discretion, decide whether or not to accept registration or exclude a participant from the event if they could damage the organization's image.
ART. 6 - MANDATORY MEDICAL CERTIFICATE FOR EVERYONE
All participants, including holders of a Cycling Sports Card (as per Art. 5), are MANDATORY to submit a valid MEDICAL CERTIFICATE to the organizers.
The required MEDICAL CERTIFICATE depends on the type of route chosen and the type of membership, as defined by the FCI Implementing Regulations.
Participation in the 120km "Via dei Laghi," and the 90km "Via delle Vigne Eroiche" routes is subject to the following requirements:
− for athletes registered with the ASI, FCI (Italian Cycling Federation) and sports promotion organizations: a certificate of fitness for competitive cycling
(Certificates for other sports such as triathlon, duathlon, athletics, etc. are not valid);
− for individuals residing in Italy but not registered with the ASI, FCI (Italian Cycling Federation) or sports promotion organizations: a certificate of fitness for competitive cycling (Certificates for other sports such as triathlon, duathlon, athletics, etc. are not valid);
for individuals residing abroad: a certificate of fitness to participate in competitive cycling races, also issued by a doctor from their country of residence - as per the downloadable form (or equivalent);
Participation in the 56km "Via dei Castelli" Short Course is subject to the following requirements:
− For athletes registered with the FCI (Italian Cycling Federation) and sports promotion bodies: certificate of fitness for non-competitive sports (as per Ministerial Decree of April 24, 2013);
− For Italian residents but not registered with the FCI (Italian Cycling Federation) or sports promotion bodies: certificate of fitness for non-competitive sports (as per Ministerial Decree of April 24, 2013);
− For foreign residents, certificate of fitness for non-competitive sports, also issued by a doctor in their country of residence.
The certificate of fitness for non-competitive sports must be uploaded online to the MyEroica platform in the "My Documents" section by April 15, 2027. The uploaded certificate will be checked and validated online within 15 days of uploading. If the certificate of fitness for sport is not compliant, it will be rejected and cancelled, and the registered participant will be required to upload a new, compliant certificate.
For those who register at the last minute, the certificate The medical certificate must be presented and validated when collecting the technical envelope (see Art. 8).
Anyone who fails to comply with this requirement will NOT be considered a registered participant and will not be entitled to a refund of the registration fee.
Each participant must declare, pursuant to Presidential Decree no. 445 of December 28, 2000, that the documents uploaded to the MyEroica system are truthful and correspond to the originals in their possession.
ART. 7 - REGISTRATION METHODS AND COSTS
Registrations can be purchased directly on the MyEroica online platform: https://www.myeroica.cc
Each participant must register on the platform with their email address and choose a password. The email address will serve as their user ID; the same email address cannot be used by two or more people.
Registrations can only be made individually. Sports groups wishing to register their team with a single MyEroica account must contact the Organization.
Registration will open at 9:00 AM on August 8th, 2026 (Rome time, CET) with the following prices and closing dates for individual registrations, i.e., for the NOVA Eroica Prosecco Hills event only:
PROMOTION FOR SPORTS CLUBS (groups of at least 10 members): registration fee € 60.00, 1 free place for every 10 registrations until February 15th, 2027. For more information, contact info@novaeroicaproseccohills.it.

ART. 8 - RACE COURSE CHANGE
It is possible to request a course change no later than 15 April 2027. The Organiser reserves the right to accept or reject any requests received after this date.
Confirmation of the course change is subject to meeting the participation requirements set out in Article 5.
Any course change not communicated to the Event Secretariat will automatically result in exclusion from the official results.
ART. 9 - COLLECTION OF THE TECHNICAL ENVELOPE AND RACE PACK
RACE PACKS and TECHNICAL ENVELOPES with RACE NUMBERS will be distributed at designated locations during the following hours:

For non-members who have purchased the ASI Daily Membership Card For €10.00, no membership card is required at registration.
You can delegate a friend or trusted person by submitting a printout of the "MY EROICA" page, duly completed and signed in the DELEGATION section, along with a copy of the delegating person's ID and a copy of their competitive sports membership card.
For the collection of technical envelopes and race packs for sports groups, a cumulative list must be provided, indicating the details of each participant.
ART. 10 - SUBSTITUTIONS OR CANCELLATION OF PARTICIPATION
Within 30 days of the event date, you may request a replacement participant only if they are up-to-date with their registration. To replace the previous participant, the new participant must register on the "MY EROICA" system and upload the required documents. (Medical certificate and valid sports card)
A €15.00 administrative fee will be required for this procedure.
If a registered participant is unable to participate in NOVA Eroica Prosecco Hills, the registration fee will not be refunded, and the race pack will not be shipped.
Cancellations may be made within 30 days of the event by sending an email to info@novaeroicaproseccohills.it.
The organization reserves the right to evaluate, at its sole discretion, any communications received if they are motivated by "objective inability to participate due to injury," documented by medical records.
Medical records will be processed in compliance with current privacy legislation.
In cases recognized by the organization, the registration fee alone will be considered valid for registration for the following year's edition, subject to the payment of a €15.00 administrative fee.
Registration The registration fee held for the following year is personal and non-transferable. It will be valid only for the year following the cancellation. In the event of further non-participation, the registration fee will be considered forfeited.
ART. 11 - TIMETABLES AND TIMING
The timetables for all courses will be published on the website www.novaeroicaproseccohills.it and made official at least 7 days before the event.
At the start and end of each TIMED Special Stage, the individual times of the competing athletes will be recorded using the special chip applied to the bike number provided in the technical envelope. Those who miss even one TIMED Special Stage will not appear in the finishing order. Referring to the U.C.I. and F.C.I. Regulations, paragraphs 1.3.010 and 12.4.003 on technological fraud, the race jury, with the technical support of the organization, is authorized to conduct random or systematic checks.
Non-compliance or refusal to undergo the required technical checks will result in immediate disqualification and reporting to the competent authorities.
Timekeeping will be conducted only for the Long "Via dei Laghi" and Medium "Via delle Vigne Eroiche" routes, according to procedures that will be communicated prior to the Event.
ART. 12 - TEAM COMPOSITION, RANKINGS, AND AWARDS
A team will be defined as such if it consists of a minimum of four cyclists registered with the same sports club. Teams may be composed of all-male, all-female, or mixed.
Teams that complete their respective routes within the maximum time indicated on the timetable referred to in Art. 10 will be awarded prizes. In the case of teams composed of the same number of cyclists, the best sum of the timed times will be used.
Team Ranking:
In the event of a tie between two or more teams, the overall ranking of the competitors will be considered.
The awards ceremony will be held at the end of the race, as shown in the event program on the website www.novaeroicaproseccohills.it.

ART. 12 - INDIVIDUAL RANKINGS AND AWARDS
The rankings will be determined by adding the individual times of the timed sections.

The official awards ceremony will take place at the end of the race in the Bike Village at 11:00 pm. 5:30 PM.
PRIZES NOT COLLECTED IN PERSON WILL NOT BE DELIVERED TO THIRD PARTIES OR SHIPPED TO YOUR HOME.
The Organization reserves the right to change the categories in accordance with new regulations or requirements.
All participants who complete the NOVA Eroica Prosecco Hills will receive a commemorative medal upon arrival.
ART. 14 - PUBLICATION OF TEAM AND INDIVIDUAL RANKINGS
At the end of the Medium "Via delle Vigne Eroiche" and Long "Via dei Laghi" routes, the individual timed special stage rankings and the team ranking will be drawn up and published.
ART. 15 - MEDICAL CARE
Medical care includes the presence of ambulances with doctors and medical personnel.
ART. 16 - MECHANICAL ASSISTANCE
Assistance of any kind by private vehicles following the race is strictly prohibited. The organization provides mechanical assistance at all refreshment points. The organization provides mechanical assistance during the race, but does not guarantee complete efficiency for all athletes; it is therefore recommended to have a repair kit for breakdowns and punctures.
ART. 17 - CLOSURES AND DIVERSIONS OF ROUTE
The latest time to complete all routes is 5:00 PM.

ART. 18 - COMPLAINTS AND INFORMATION
Any complaints must be sent to the organizers exclusively via email to info@novaeroicaproseccohills.it within 10 days of the publication of the finish list.

ART. 19 - REFRESHMENTS
Official REFRESHMENT points will be located along the routes, offering drinks and sweet and savory food in authentic Eroica style.
Please note that the refreshment points are free and will have the following opening and closing times:
ART. 20 - CANCELLATION OR POSTPONEMENT OF THE EVENT DATE
If, due to force majeure, the event is cancelled, the registration fee will not be refunded. Only the registration fee will be considered valid for registration for the following year. The organizers will also be entitled to a €15.00 administration fee for postponing registration to the following year. The request for registration for the following year and the payment of the administration fee must be made by the date indicated by the organizers after the event is cancelled.
Furthermore, in the event of force majeure or other serious circumstances that jeopardize the preparation of the event or the participation of at least half of the registered participants, the Organizer reserves the right to reschedule the location and/or date of the event within the same calendar year. In this case, the registration fee will be valid for the rescheduled event, at no additional cost to the registered participants. In this case, registration cannot be transferred to the following year's event.
ART. 21 - CHANGES
The Organizer reserves the right to make changes to the regulations at any time. The official website of the event, where these regulations are published, is the only official source of information about the event.
ART. 22 - RIGHTS AND DUTIES OF RIDERS
Riders are required to clearly display their bike numbers behind their saddles and to wear their back number, provided by the Organizer. These numbers may not be changed or altered in any way.
It is mandatory to wear a certified cycling helmet and keep it fastened throughout the race. Cyclists are required to obey the Highway Code throughout the race, including during timed sections.
ART. 23 - DISQUALIFICATIONS
A 2-year disqualification will be applied to anyone who:
We appeal to all participants to exercise civic duty to keep the areas along the route clean.
In serious cases, such as participating with someone else's RACE NUMBER or the unauthorized transfer of one's registration, the organizers may, at their sole discretion, impose a lifetime disqualification.
Disqualifications imposed during the year may result in removal from the starting list at any time, at the sole discretion of the Organizer.
The use of bicycles equipped with any type of motor or propulsion aid is strictly prohibited, under penalty of disqualification or expulsion.
ART. 24 - OTHER RULES
For matters not covered by these regulations, the event will apply the implementing rules of the FCI amateur sector.
ART. 25 - APPROVAL, CONSENT, AUTHORIZATION, ETC.
By requesting to participate in NOVA Eroica Prosecco Hills in any of the ways provided for in these regulations, each participant, from the moment of registration:
Consent to the use of his/her data, including for marketing purposes.
Declares that they have read and approved these Regulations and accept all of their provisions;
Is responsible for their own conduct during and after the event;
Declares that he/she is in good physical condition and has submitted a valid medical certificate to the Organization after undergoing a medical examination for competitive or touring cycling (as per Art. 6), providing the Organization with the fullest indemnity for any damages he/she may suffer as a result of his/her participation in the event;
Commercial agents, in accordance with the Consolidated Law on Privacy No. 196 of June 30, 2003, and the European Union Regulation on Privacy 2017/679 (GDPR/18);
The Organization declines all liability for itself and its collaborators for accidents or damage to persons or property that may occur before, during, or after the event, or as a result thereof.
Furthermore, by submitting the online registration form, the participant self-certifies that there are no sporting, civil, and/or criminal sanctions, even if served, for doping-related offenses, and declares that they have not taken—and will not take—substances included on the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) anti-doping list (http://list.wada-ama.org/prohibited-all-times/prohibited-substances/).
False self-certifications will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
In the event of a positive doping test during Nova Eroica Prosecco Hills, or a positive test confirmed within 6 (six) months of other sporting events, the competitor is required to pay the NOVA EROICA Organization the sum of €50,000.00 (fifty thousand euros) as compensation for the serious damage caused to the event's image.
The sums collected by the Organization as compensation for the damage to its image will be donated entirely to youth sports activities.
