For the 29th edition of L’Eroica, the event village will once again host the Mini Eroica and Youth Cycling (Giocociclismo) activities, designed to introduce the little ones to the world of two wheels in a fun and safe environment.
Scheduled for Friday, October 2, 2026, the Mini Eroica lets young riders experience the thrill of a real ride through the charming streets of Gaiole in Chianti, soaking up the unique atmosphere of L'Eroica.
Participants will be accompanied by certified technical staff from the Italian Cycling Federation (FCI). Bicycles (both mountain bikes and road bikes) and helmets will be made available by the event organizers. Registration is free and includes insurance coverage. Every child will receive a participation medal and a mini race pack.
On Friday, October 2, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM, children can have fun on the dedicated obstacle course set up at the FCI area in collaboration with ACSI, Pedale Senese, Siena Bike, and Tuscany Go. This activity is open to kids of all ages, from complete beginners to more experienced riders.
The educational course—featuring artificial obstacles and agility slaloms—helps children improve their bike handling skills while learning the fundamental rules of road safety. It offers the perfect opportunity to socialize with peers from local cycling clubs and discover the simple joy of riding a bike.
This kids' day is a wonderful opportunity to introduce children to cycling in an educational, entertaining way. Combining sport, learning, and play, it passes on core values like environmental respect and road safety.
Join us for an unforgettable day created just for the little ones, where the spirit of L’Eroica comes to life at kid size!
