Heroic cycling is a manifesto of timeless values, a perfect balance between the recovery of memory and respect for the landscape that hosts us. In this setting, the tenth edition of Eroica Montalcino confirms itself as an unmissable appointment for those who experience vintage cycling, with its steel frames and wool jerseys, as a lifestyle centered on responsibility and beauty.
The partnership between Eroica and Roy Roger’s stems from this shared vision: applying the concepts of circular economy to a passion for the strade bianche. Roy Roger’s and Eroica thus choose to celebrate authenticity, promoting a model where textile excellence meets the preservation of the Tuscan territory.
To celebrate the milestone of ten editions among the Brunello vineyards, Roy Roger’s once again signs the distinctive element that every cyclist will wear on their back along the climbs of Montalcino: the official 2026 race number. Made entirely from "secondary raw material" (high-quality recycled fabric) and printed with certified ecological inks, this object transforms the heroic cyclist’s number into a tangible message. It is proof that the iconic style of historic cycling can coexist perfectly with the most modern environmental respect practices.
The commitment of Roy Roger’s and Eroica goes beyond the boundaries of sport to touch the heart of the community. For this decennial edition, the solidarity mission is dedicated to AIL (Italian Association against Leukemia, Lymphoma, and Myeloma), strengthening a deep bond with the territory and its people.
In fact, AIL Siena Grosseto will be present in the heart of the village of Montalcino, where cyclists and companions can actively contribute to scientific research and support for hematological patients.
The technical envelope containing the race number will be available for pickup at the Complesso di Sant’Agostino starting from Friday, May 29th, at 5:00 PM.
