Modern cycling is a constant evolution, a perfect balance between cutting-edge technology and respect for the environment we traverse. In this scenario, on its tenth anniversary, NOVA Eroica Buonconvento confirms its status as the benchmark for those who experience road and gravel cycling with an eye toward the future and social responsibility.
The partnership between Eroica and Roy Roger’s stems from this shared vision: applying circular economy concepts to the passion for two wheels. In a world racing on carbon frames and off-road trails, Roy Roger’s and Eroica choose to slow down the environmental impact, promoting a lifestyle where textile innovation meets the safeguarding of the territory.
To celebrate ten editions of NOVA Eroica, Roy Roger’s introduces a distinctive element found in every athlete’s technical kit: the official 2026 race number made from high-quality "secondary raw materials." Each number is printed with certified eco-friendly inks, minimizing the environmental footprint of every participant. It is proof that Italian design and athletic performance can coexist under the banner of sustainability.
The commitment of Roy Roger’s and Eroica extends beyond the environment to the heart of the community. For the 2026 edition, the mission is dedicated to AIL Siena Grosseto (Italian Association against Leukemia, Lymphoma, and Myeloma).
AIL will be present in the beating heart of the Buonconvento village. Here, cyclists and supporters can actively contribute to scientific research and the support of hematological patients.
You can collect your technical kit containing the official race number at “La Bici del Popolo” in Piazza Garibaldi, starting from Friday, April 10th at 3:00 PM.
