Vintage cycling is a timeless manifesto of values, achieving a perfect balance between preserving memory and respecting the surrounding landscape. In this spirit, the 29th edition of L’Eroica reaffirms its status as an essential event for those who experience vintage cycling—with its steel frames and wool jerseys—as a lifestyle grounded in responsibility and beauty.
The partnership between Eroica and Roy Roger’s stems from this shared vision of applying circular economy principles to a passion for the white roads. Roy Roger’s and Eroica choose to celebrate authenticity by promoting a model where textile craftsmanship excellence pairs seamlessly with the protection of the Tuscan territory.
Once again for this edition, Roy Roger’s signs the distinctive element that every cyclist will wear on their back along the routes of L’Eroica: the official 2026 back number. Made entirely from secondary raw materials (high-quality recycled fabric) and printed with certified eco-friendly inks, this item turns the rider's number into a concrete statement. It demonstrates that the iconic style of historic cycling can coexist harmoniously with modern environmental practices.
The commitment of Roy Roger’s and Eroica extends beyond sport to reach the heart of the community. For the 29th edition of L’Eroica, the solidarity mission is dedicated to AIL (Italian Association Against Leukemia, Lymphoma, and Myeloma), reinforcing a deep connection with the local region and its residents.
AIL Siena Grosseto will be present in the heart of the Gaiole in Chianti village, where cyclists and visitors can actively contribute to scientific research and the support of hematological patients.
Participants can collect their technical pack containing the back number at Base Eroica starting from Thursday, October 1, at 5:00 PM.
